What a mixed bag! The rooms were spotless and beautifully laid out, with a wonderful fully stocked ensuite. However, my room was not superior in any way; there wasn't even enough space to sit at the dressing table. The standard room had everything in it but felt very tired and in need of renovations, especially the bathroom. On the bright side, the room was very spacious.
I had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The rooms provided everything we needed, overlooking the rear terrace & garden, and the brilliant menu for fine dining was a great perk. The service was top-notch with an excellent steak meal and incredibly comfortable pillows. The location, although requiring a car, was set in a lovely village, perfect for exploring local attractions like Sandringham Estate. The dining experience was delightful, especially with fresh baked pastries and great coffee. Overall, a wonderful experience!
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room, although noisy due to beer deliveries early in the morning, was comfortable and spacious. The lack of available food for an evening meal was disappointing, but the upcoming furniture replacement in 2022 gives hope for improvements.
